Avalanche runout analysis and flow modelling is used extensively for mapping, residential zoning, impact force analysis on structures, and post wildfire assessment. Although the science can be complex, we incorporate leading edge modeling software (e.g. RAMMS) and specialized techniques such as ‘confidence-based weighted averaging’ to ensure accuracy. Aerial imagery and detailed field surveys are included when possible to decrease uncertainty and provide robust results.
