Eirik Sharp

Eirik is a long-time avalanche professional, scientist, and ski guide and is the manager of our Yukon-based office in Whitehorse, YT. Originally from Norway, he grew up backcountry skiing and has been working in the snow for 17 years as a snow science researcher, avalanche forecaster, and ski guide. He has an M.Sc. in avalanche mapping and is a research associate in Simon Fraser University’s Avalanche Research Program. Eirik is currently the President of the Canadian Avalanche Association.
