Mira Lowenberg

Driven by a passion for the unique and dynamic environment of rugged alpine terrain, Mira has dedicated her career to studying mountain processes and natural hazards. With an MSc in Geography from the University of Innsbruck, she specializes in remote sensing and natural hazard assessment, with a focus on gravitational processes. Utilizing drone technology, LiDAR, photogrammetry, and GIS, she acquires high-resolution aerial data to analyze and model avalanche behavior. Her expertise enables precise mapping and understanding of complex mountain terrain, providing essential insights for risk assessment and mitigation in challenging alpine environments.
